The 2011 Boys Select team has officially qualified for the 2026 US Youth Soccer National Championships, set to take place in Utah this July, after an outstanding showing at the USYS Winter Cup this past weekend in Arizona. This will be the 2nd consecutive year the boys have qualified for Nationals after making the National Semi-Final in 2025.

Competing against top teams from across the country, the boys delivered a flawless group-stage performance winning their group with three wins from three matches, scoring an impressive 20 goals while conceding just 2. It was a dominant display on both sides of the ball and a true reflection of the team’s growth and identity.

From the first match to the last, the group set a high standard with their tempo, organization, and intensity. The attacking play was creative and clinical, while the defensive unit stayed disciplined and composed, limiting opponents to very few clear chances. Every player played a role, showcasing the depth, balance, and togetherness that define this team.

Earning qualification through the Winter Cup is no small achievement. The pressure of group play, the quality of opposition, and the demands of a showcase environment require focus and resilience and the boys rose to the challenge in every moment.

This milestone is a testament to the players’ commitment, the consistent work put in on the training ground, and the unwavering support from families throughout the journey. Qualifying for Nationals is a special accomplishment, but it also serves as motivation to continue pushing standards higher.

With eyes now set on Utah in July, the 2011 Boys Select will shift their focus to preparation and development as they get ready to compete on the national stage.

Nationals bound.
