Whether your athlete is looking for a recreational league, ready to take the next step with the Wizards, or looking to sharpen their skills, WAA has basketball programs for players of all ages and skill levels.

🏀 2026–27 Rec Basketball
Our indoor recreational basketball leagues are designed for all skill levels, giving players the opportunity to develop their game while enjoying a weekly practice and game throughout an eight-game season.
Session 1: K–8th Grade | November 7 – January 16
Session 2: K–High School | January 23 – March 13
Registration: Session 1 | Session 2

Ready for the next level? The 2026–27 Wizards & Lady Wizards Travel Basketball Program is hosting tryouts for athletes in 3rd–12th grade.
Location: WAA Sports Center | 2323 Liberty St., Aurora
Tryout Dates:
Boys 3rd–8th Grade: September 8 & 10
Girls 3rd–8th Grade: September 9 & 11
High School Girls: September 12 & 13
High School Boys: September 12 & 13
Tryout Fee: FREE

🏀 Keep Building Your Game This Fall
The Basketball Sunday Circuits give players in 2nd–8th grade focused instruction and repetition in key areas of the game.
Ball Handling & Passing
Sundays: September 27; October 4, 11 & 18
Shooting Development
Sundays: November 1, 8, 15 & 22
Basketball Agility
Sundays: December 6, 13 & 20
Players will work on key areas including ball control, passing, shooting mechanics, footwork, speed, and change of direction.
